What Customers Say About Apple iPod classic 80 GB Black (6th Generation):
|
|
It has more features then his other 80GB IPod, which was stolen. I ordered this for my son; he is very happy with it.
I guess Apple knows about the problem but doesn't want us to know.Luckily mine died within the 30-day return period (I bought it from J&R through Amazon), and I'm getting a refund. Under 10gb, no problem. The cover art flow feature is fantastic. With it, you can scan through all of your album covers from A-Z and then pick whatever you want. I've read very good reviews about the Creative Zen 32gb and the new Zen X-Fi, so I ordered one last night. You can adjust the brightness.
Apple iPod classic 160 GB Black (6th Generation)My iPod experience was both heartbreaking and frustrating. The screen is terrific. I tried Winamp and the ml_ipod plugin that comes so highly recommended. Resetting it didn't help. It was not possible to "restore" it in iTunes. It's large, nice resolution and easy to see in bright sunlight. I was attracted to the iPod Classic 160gb because of its storage capacity and the Apple iPod's (undeserved) reputation. The good: the iPod looks great, and it was super easy to navigate through menus. I was able to use the iPod out of the box without looking at the user's guide.
He started monitoring the site and saw that a number of other similar posts from other users were also deleted. Over and no deal. Same result. I could still navigate through menus, but there was no music on it, and I couldn't get iTunes to recognize it.I didn't read any reviews before buying the iPod, because Apple has a long history of making iPods, they are very popular, and my best friend has a generation 5 iPod that he loved. In fact, I was unable to load more than 10gb onto the iPod.
One person said that he posted negative comments about syncing and hard drive problems on Apple's discussion forum and that Apple was deleting his posts. I'm sorely disappointed that I there isn't another high capacity mp3 player like the iPod (I haven't read good things about the Zune 80gb), but I'd rather have 32gb of great sound quality and a working unit than a 160gb paperweight.I won't be buying any Apple products in the future. But once I started having problems, I looked at many reviews (on Amazon and off), and I found a high number of people who reported problems with syncing and dying iPods. The menu structure is logical and friendly. I "restored" the hard drive (which is like reformatting it) in iTunes, but this didn't make a difference. The ugly: after several weeks, my iPod's hard drive failed completely (it's corrupted).
Anything more and the iPod and iTunes crashed. Battery life is very long. Sound quality was solid. The bad: iTunes is quite limiting and syncing did not go well.
Hola a todos, esta compra fue espectacular lo malo es que yo pense que no iba a llenar los 80GB pero lo hice ahora me arrepiendo por no haber comprado el de 160GB.
Put your whole audio bible on, plus all your sermons and get podcasts of great bible teachers fantasticeasy to select what song you need.if you're a bible student then definitely get one.
You now have to spend more $$$ for the remote, and for a charger that should have been included to begin with. Apple did away with the convenient and superior Firewire connection, also gone is the remote control cable that allowed for track changes and volume control, and they no longer provide a charger. All this and inferior sound (harsh). I own a second-generation (20 Gig) iPod that to this day works and sounds superior to this latest "classic" iteration. In my opinion, each generation of iPod goes down in quality and value.
